Team Bella And Edward

Essence has released several nail art twins; A combination of two nail polishes (one base coat, one top coat) that match well together and go by the names of popular duos. I'll be swatching Nail Art Twins, no 6 today; 'Bella & Edward'.

I love this color, it's very intense and bright even after just one coat. It covers very well and no second coat is needed. Application is easier than with most other Essence polishes. You have to use a base coat to avoid discoloration of your nails with this one, though. I would advise to do always use a base coat but with this one it's a must.

I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to glitter polishes. Sometimes they're easy to apply but most of the time, they're a real pain. Edward is great, however. It's very easy to spread the glitters evenly and it doesn't have big chucks only but tiny glitters too. It's a little less obvious in the picture above, but the glitter is absolutely gorgeous in natural light and artificial light. It gives a whole variety of colors from green to gold and from blue to red.

I'm definitely Team Bella & Edward when it comes to these polishes!
